Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

We went here for lunch on Thurs August 21 at approximately 12:30 in the afternoon. Make sure you read through this entire review to understand the low 2 star rating. It was 4 of us. Me, my girl, our daughter and grandchild. Our daughter had been there before but we hadn't. She likes the place and wanted us to go with her. It wasnt very crowded at all. Maybe seen two other tables with people eating. We originally sat at the tables outside but we got chilly kinda quick and decided to sit inside before we even ordered anything. Our waitress was a nice girl named Haley. With only two other tables occupied it seemed to take her a little long to get us menus, take our order and bring our drinks . The place itself looked clean. However, I wasnt crazy about the drab color and wall decor. We ordered chips and salsa ( which should have been free if you ask me lol) a shrimp Baja bowl, street tacos, shrimp Saltado and a Chicken tender meal. All the food was extremely delicious. I was very impressed. I would definitely go back ( by the very next day though, that desire had changed). Our total was about $92. We paid for lunch on a card and handed Haley a $20 tip in cash. 24 hours later while checking our card transaction we noticed a charge of $122 at Tiger Lily. Knowing darn well that wasnt our total we decided to call the restaurant. I gave them our receipt number and he checked the transaction. I told him over the phone we paid on a card and handed the server a $20 tip. A few moments later, he replied "well it looks as if the waitress gave herself a $30 tip". Excuse me? You mean a $50 tip cause we gave her 20. Like why are you even saying it like that? Does this waitress do this kind of stuff all the time? He said " he would look into the incident but it may have been an accident". Im not 100% sure how that kind of accident happens though . He did say he would refund us back the $30. After this phone call I immediately called our daughter to let her know what happened. Hopefully she checks her previous transactions with this restaurant. Im rating Tiger Lily a 2 out of 5 stars. Its a shame cause the food was delicious. The cook does an excellent job. The server however, is also a reflection of my experience and well, she can't be trusted. She gave herself a $30 tip ontop of the $20 I handed her. Unfreakin believable. If you been to this place recently and paid with a card you may want to check your posted transactions. If you have to go today or tomorrow or anytime... and a young lady approaches your table saying " Hi Im Haley . Im going to be your server today". Make sure you use cash or maybe just get up and leave. Its your choice.... but you cant say I didnt warn you.

Tacos are awesome and the staff as well. The truffle fries are good. The cheesecake was the only complaint due to the fact that it was $12 and taste like grocery store quality. Not impressed

IF WE LIVED THERE, WE'D BE REGULARS Robust flavors in a colorful, delicate combination: Tiger Lily in Easton is an aptly named casual dining joint for foodies. The dining room is open-concept and bright, even on the foggy, drizzling day when we ate lunch there. In this case, open-concept includes the kitchen being part of the dining room, so one can watch the food being prepared and cooked, if so inclined (we were). My partner had the Birria Tacos; I had the Baja Bowl with chicken. In both cases, the plate presentation was terrific. That look, combined with the aromas, got our mouths watering before the first bite. Delicious, beginning to end. We also tried the Chips and a trio of Salsa, Queso, and Guacamole dips. All three dips were good, but if you’re choosing just one, we recommend the Queso. Mmm. Our server, whose name escapes me, also greeted us at the door and seated us, as he did all the other lunch parties that entered on this lightly trafficked Wednesday. He was friendly, helpful with recommendations, and attentive throughout. Altogether, we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and give Tiger Lily four thumbs up (two for each of us). P.S. The restaurant would benefit from adding a Tiger Lily sign on the Washington Street side of the building to make it more readily identifiable to passing traffic.
