Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Not a big place but worth the drive. Generally speaking this is always a good choice for quality meals. Service staff is attentive to your dining experience, clearing away empty plates and glasses so your table doesn't resemble to kitchen Sink. I will say the lasagna entree was not particularly special, although touted by our server as one of the better choices. Thus far, each seafood dish we've had has seen better than similar ones at other Italian restaurants.

This pizza was $22.60. It was ok, but no value what so ever. It wasn’t $22.60 good for its size. I’d pay $15 tops and not feel totally screwed over. Probably won’t be back for another year or so when I forget how disappointed I was the last time.

We used Tortora’s for our nearly 200 person wedding at the Botanical Garden in 2026 and it was easily one of the best wedding decisions we made. As a family owned company, I was able to speak directly with co-owners and plan out our meal service to be exactly what we wanted. At the first meeting, we were debating family style or plated meals and Julie gave me all the information we could want to help make our decision. My husband and I, never having eating at Tortora’s before, went unannounced for dinner and were blown away by the food. As someone who is 100% Italian, I am extremely skeptical of Italian food but Tortora’s more than exceeded my expectation. Julie and the staff coordinated time and time again with us make sure our plated meals, drinks, and cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres were going to be EXACTLY how we wanted them. From adding bow tie pastas to the meatballs for style at cocktail hour, to accommodating gluten and dairy allergies, to food quantity, quality, and elegance of service during the wedding- I simply could not have asked for any better. A full 5 stars in my book and my immediate recommendation to anyone planning an event. If you want personalized service, fantastic and filling food, complete menu freedom and personalization, a reasonable price, and to never have to worry about the caterers….Tortora’s needs to be the call you make.
