Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

My husband and I went to the Feast Your Eyes event for Coraline. The staff and ambiance were great! However, we feel a little conflicted. The staff and ambiance: The staff was amazing and we loved the ambiance. We felt very immersed in the movie and it was magical to get the dishes at the same time throughout the movie. The conflict: The first course didn’t feel cohesive to the rest of the menu. It was an odd addition to make and despite not liking it we carried on and tried to enjoy the rest of the menu. I feel like the rest of the menu was pretty spot on for the movie. However, our food came out lukewarm at best. Part of me juggled the fact that it’s an 8 course meal for around 50 people at the same exact time (super hard to do) but also remembering I spent like $200 to eat here. The verdict: We felt super conflicted because it was magical to have all the food arrive at specific points in the movie but the food itself just wasn’t warm, like not even under a heat lamp type of warm. Overall, the event was good. I just don’t know if I can justify the $200 for cold food?

THEE most spectacular culinary experience. The entire staff is phenomenal feels like luxury hotel attentive service and so friendly. Incredible interior vibe, fun anime touches, comfortable bar seating. Spectacular service. THE FOOD🤯flavors I have never experienced in Utah before. The Curry Crack🤤basically the world’s greatest chicken nuggs. Some of the best brussel sprouts I have ever had. The pear and pineapple mocktails wow. Salmon Nigiri with chili paste was a spectacular pairing. BUT THE BLACK COD WITH MISO BUTTER WOOOOOW. Heavenly melt in. your mouth. Whoa. Thoroughly enjoyed sampling the desert menu as well. The sweet potato something or other sheeesh. An exceptional experience through and through. Not to mention very affordably priced for the quality. The chefs are elite and the owner personally cared for and interacted with every guest. Will be dreaming of this experience. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.

I had a great meal here, the hamachi was so good I had to order another one. And the salmon with crispy rice looked so good that I accidentally ate a piece before taking a photo (lol). The service was fantastic and fast. Zero complaints, although I would suggest maybe making the hand rolls a cone shape to avoid losing anything out the other end. Taste was excellent, though so I'd get it again. Speaking of which, next time I'm in Salt Lake City, I'll certainly be making another stop here!
