I was recommended to try this restaurant by another Chef in Abilene. As soon as I walked in, a woman greeted me and was incredibly nice. She asked how my day was going, and seated me at my table. My server promptly came after I was seated and provided kind hospitality. I ordered the bread and butter appetizer. This was probably the best bread I have ever had. The surface was crinkly and warm, while the inside was pillowy and soft. It’s accompanied by a delicious butter spread. Now for the margarita pizza! This was the absolute best pizza I have ever had. With standard American pizza it’s heavy, it’s greasy, it’s floppy, and you don’t feel your best after consuming it. But, this margarita pizza was so light. It is drizzled with olive oil, but it did not sit heavy on my stomach. The ingredients are fresh. The flavors blended beautifully with each other. The basil was picked fresh, and the sauce was the perfect flavor with not too much acidity. I took my first bite, and before I knew it I had already taken down 4 pieces. It was so incredibly good. I am a culinary student, so I had to share my leftovers with classmate of mine. She gave the rating 8/10. I will definitely be a returning customer!

We absolutely love this place. We live North of Houston but come to Abilene for work pretty frequently. We have to keep finding ways to get back here so we can go to Vagabond Pizza. If you haven't tried the bread with the salted butter, get it. We've loved every pizza we've tried as well. It's so cool how they're always working on new recipes too, so there's always something new and exciting to try here. What a spectacular business!
