When I tell y'all this was my favorite part of visiting my hometown, I ain't lying. To be quite honest, I'd only been a few times when I was a kid. Well now as an adult, I brought my future husband here for breakfast & we had such a great time. Ordering was extremely easy, the service was absolutely amazing, and the food was extremely delicious! It was a little crowded, but that typical for this place. The servers quickly found us a spot, as they saw us looking around. I experienced some of the best service I've ever had anywhere. This restaurant is definitely a must visit spot if you're in New Iberia. Highly recommend this awesome establishment!

Almost famous! The staff is friendly. The atmosphere is unique and laced with nostalgic south Louisiana flare. The food has lost some of its allure. It is ok. Not bad. Absent of the greatness it was once known for.

Beautiful little cafeteria. Great service. Friendly staff. We were camping and a local guy at a gas station told us about this place. The etouffee and grits were a surprise. I must say the grits were some of the best I've ever had and I'm not a fan of grits normally. The portions were generous. I've never seen potatoes made like they did here and had an excellent flavor. Staff was very helpful and sweet and patient. The president of the parish was there that day and spoke with us for a little while. Architecture and deep ceiling inside his breathtaking. What a great little cafeteria. We were just in town camping so this was a pleasant surprise. If you get a chance go there. You won't be disappointed. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back if we're in this part of the world.
