Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

How can this place have a 4.5 star rating when they are serving carniceria meat? And the worst kind! I ordered a lemongrass beef vermicelli bowl and what I got had no lemongrass taste whatsoever. I was able to spot the distinct cheap, over seasoned, tough, rough flavor of cheap carniceria meat . I took one bite and left. I will never return to this place again. There was no real Vietnamese flavor to that bowl. Disgusting! The rolls had fishy flavored shrimp and that is a wrap. Not the kind I want to ever experience again!

Pros: only Vietnamese restaurant in Kingwood/Porter, good service, decent menu variety Cons: food is not good, not much parking The pho tastes like it was made from canned soup they got from the Kroger across the street. The Bahn mi were edible, but not great. Their spring rolls were hard and way too chewy. And the boba in my milk tea tasted like it was uncooked. If you are desperate for Vietnamese in Kingwood/Porter, this is edible, but it's not good. I've eaten Vietnamese all over Greater Houston, and this has got to be the worst I've ever had; again, edible, but not good.

Please explain how this place has such a good rating. TERRIBLE..... over priced and serving size is mediocre my 5 year old stayed hungry from a $12 small pho... the bahn mi had about 5 slices of pork and the cheese puffs tasted stale. The combination pho was half the plate with 3 slices of beef and 4 halfed meat balls. The only okay thing was the Thai tea. Other than that this was the worst experience.
