Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

I first found out about this lovely place when I met a lady carrying a cooked turkey to a car. It was a ‘Jamaican Jerk Turkey’ and the savory smells, alone, brought me into the restaurant another day. Today, I was met by a friendly lady that provided me with curry chicken, candied yams, jollof rice, and caramel bread pudding. The freshness of my meal made my 💜 smile. Honestly, I had to share it with my Honey, whom agrees this place delivers on service, atmosphere, and savory entrees.

I’ve gotten food from here a few times. It’s never been my favorite, ever. I’ve tried the banana pudding in the past and it was riddled with rum, in an exorbitant amount that made it distasteful. This most recent time I tried it again, no rum. Not enough wafers but no other complaints. This food below was $19. I asked for white meat. There is not a single reason on the planet to serve MINCED meat for $19. I was actually taken aback. The meat was said to be jerk chicken but as a Jamaican, this is jerk sauce thrown on chicken. The rice was NOT boiled throughly at all this day. I’ve been disappointed with the food all the times I’ve come which is about 1 hours from closing. The food has been horrible EVERYTIME but this is the worst I’ve seen it. The plantain was frozen solid! I’m assuming because I’d come before closing, there was no regard to reheat anything. I worked an 11hour shift and this finished me off. Half of the rice and chicken too was cold. I really don’t know if care wasn’t given, food wasn’t checked? I sat in my car for awhile so there was ample opportunity to check. The staff is usually nice and through and I don’t have much to say about the ambiance. Usually a quiet place. I don’t know if the food is different in the mornings when you guys open but in the most humble way, I don’t know how you guys are still open for business.

The staff is really what has me coming back to Weakness for Sweetness has a great set of people, they are wonderful and so sweet and always working hard!!! It is also very busy at this location and the employees are just so darn nice and great! Thank you!!!! My aunt recommended this place and I’ve been coming ever since. When my mom comes in town, she goes. They are open from Monday - Saturday and now Sundays, I’m there!! Ackee & Saltfish, Callaloo, Patties, Corn beef & Cabbage, etc. From their food, homemade desserts and custom juices they have everything you need to feed your entire family.
