Our family had one of the most special dining experiences we’ve ever had at 1865 in Acworth. A complete stranger in our community gifted us dinner there to celebrate my nephew’s 3rd birthday, and what happened next was something we will never forget. From the moment we arrived, the team went above and beyond anything we’ve ever experienced at a restaurant. They created custom birthday menus just for my nephew, which was such an incredible and thoughtful touch. We have honestly never had a custom experience like that before, and we’ve never been made to feel so genuinely welcomed. The woman who gifted us the dinner turned out to be the goddaughter of the owners, and she even came by to meet our family in person, which meant so much. The manager also came over to introduce himself and personally thank us for being there. That level of kindness and hospitality is rare these days. The food was absolutely incredible, and the industrial vibe and atmosphere of the restaurant was everything- such a cool, welcoming space to celebrate a special moment. It’s so clear that 1865 is a locally owned restaurant that truly cares about its customers and community, and experiences like this are exactly why supporting local businesses matters. If you’re in the area, please go support them, you won’t regret it. They also have a second location in Kennesaw, and after this experience we will absolutely be back to visit again. Thank you, 1865, for making my nephew’s birthday so memorable for our family.

Good vibes but the food was subpar especially for the price. Guac was good but I ordered medium steak and got rare. Temp of food was good otherwise. Taste was alright. Ordered red velvet cake for dessert and was brought what tasted like dyed corn bread. Terrible terrible. Service was good—Michael, the server removed the dessert from the bill which was nice. Don’t know that I’d come back.

Overall the food was good. The fries were just right. Flaky exterior and fluffy interior. The brussel sprouts while good, did not really have of the flavor in the description. I only got a hint of maple bacon with the final bite as there were two small pieces of bacon in the bottom of the bowl. The salmon was good but I feel obligated to take a star for the quantity. This must be a 4 or 6 oz piece. 4 regular sized bites? Atmosphere was nice. Overall would return if convenient, but would go out of my way.
