Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

I’ve tried cajun food in New Orleans, and somehow the best I’ve ever had was at this little spot in Mississippi. The gumbo was dark, rich, and packed with deep, slowcooked flavor. Even the sides were incredible. Not just good... better than most places in Louisiana. Completely blew my mind.

From the greeting to the desert was fantastic. I had the creole pasta with chicken and my husband had the fish and shrimp platter. The flavors in everything were chefs kiss, so so good. For desert, we had the egg roll cheesecake topped with ice-cream. It was crunchy, creamy, and simply divine. We will definitely go back.

We stopped in during a road trip and we were just passing through and saw this place on google - the food was great! Everyone that was working was very friendly, and even though they were very busy when we got there the food and service was quick! I got the fried rice and my husband got a combo - definitely recommend!
