Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

stopped by this café on a Friday morning for a quick breakfast and ended up sitting outside and working for a while. The setup is very straightforward—you grab a table first, place your order at the counter, and the food is brought out to you. They offer quick breakfast items like pastries and a variety of coffees, along with a few brunch-style options. I ordered a hot mocha, a slice of banana bread, and a ham-and-cheese pastry. The banana bread was excellent, with a pleasant crunchy element inside that made it especially interesting and flavorful. The ham-and-cheese item wasn’t a classic croissant but more of a breakfast pastry, and it was quite good. The mocha, however, didn’t quite hit the mark for me. While I could taste the chocolate, it was noticeably on the sweeter side. I probably should have asked for less sweetness. That said, I’m sure their other coffee options are better suited to different preferences. Overall, the café has a charming vibe. It’s located right across from a library in Palo Alto, where there seemed to be some community activities happening, which added to the atmosphere. Good food, a relaxed setting, and a pleasant place to spend the morning.

My new favorite cafe!! Super dog friendly and welcoming atmosphere with lots of outdoor seating ◡̈ Highly recommend coming here! Mitchell park is right next door so took some goodies to go as well and ate at the park.

We went to JLS Middle School for a soccer tournament, and the kids were hungry, so we stopped by Ada’s Café. The place was very clean and well-organized, and the cashier was polite. The kids ordered hot chocolate, lemonade and quiche, and I got a croissant. The service was excellent, and the ambiance was warm and welcoming. They have a very cute atmosphere. The prices were reasonable.
