Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Ohh boyyy.. easily the best Afghan food I had in a recent while. I ordered chicken Tikka that came with yummylicious Qabili pulao rice. Tikka was juicy, very tender and perfectly seasoned. I also ordered Borani-Banjan which was freshly made and very flavorful. Last but not the least the doodh patti chaye with cardamom was out of this world. Only negative could be slow service so please be a little patient!

Absolutely delicious, well-seasoned food. Everything was fresh and savory. We started with the mantoo dumplings and loved them, too. We especially enjoyed the vegetarian eggplant and the Afghan-style naan. The mango lassi was also excellent — flavorful and not overly sweet. Service was a little slow, but it was worth the wait. We live close by and will be back to try other dishes in the near future.

NOT RECOMMENDED! Unprofessional and rude behavior. Uncooked chapli kabob, since last night my stomach acid is in sky. They give 25 minutes to get but I pick it up in 1hr. I trashed all the foods after eating a small portion. They charged me 60$ bucks for a garbage meal. The young gentleman who is on the front desk needs to be professional, respectful and someone needs to learn him morality. Thanks
