Absolutely amazing food. BUT even more important? So very kind!! I ordered plantains but had wanted to try the fufu but had already eaten. He very kindly made me a sample of fufu with a sample of sauces! So so kind. Definitely recommend! Headed back for the salmon next time!!!

Absolutely amazing!!! The owner is the nicest person ever! We had gotten another dinner and got some of his plantains for dessert and asked him about his fufu and egusi because we had never tried it and when we went to grab our plantains he was so nice and gave us some fufu and egusi to try with a bunch of sauce and it was so good! We will definitely be back and definitely get our dinner here next time. 10/10 recommend!

I have waited 6 years to try African food and finally got to this weekend. I have to give the credit to TikTok for introducing me to different cultures and their cuisines. African dream CAME THROUGH! The FLAVOR.. omg… the SERVICE.. just as good as the food! The kindest owner with food that was so addicting I had to go back the next day and get more! 6 years was worth the wait and I’m glad i chose African Dream Cuisine!!! The smoked chicken and brisket are 10⭐️!!! Yes, the independence center isn’t everyone’s favorite but it’s SO worth the whole experience I had! I’ll be getting more food here when I’m back in town(i live 2 hours away). It will be a food I crave for another 6 years! Thank you sweet owner- you are a kind soul that sure knows how to cook!!!!
