Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Phenomenal food and excellent service. You can really tell how genuinely they love and care about the food and customers they serve - welcoming atmosphere through and through. Very delicious, we will be coming back to try more. (P.s. sorry for the terrible picture, we were hungry!)

Great place for first timers with genuine African cuisine! It’s family owned and operated which we appreciated so much. The owners helped us choose our meal and we loved all of their recommendations. I didn’t catch their names - but the woman was spot on - no nonsense and could read me like a book as far as what she thought I’d like lol. The man who served us was hilarious and taught us how to properly eat our fufu. Such an awesome place with great vibes! We highly recommend.

Wow - I will definitely be coming back here! Walked in to an almost empty restaurant on a cold snowy day and the friendly and warm owners greeted us and we got seated. We knew we wanted the kelewele (fried plantains and peanuts) but didn’t know what we wanted as a main. The owner and waitress said “I’ve got you” and asked us certain questions about what we like and what came out was absolutely perfect! I’m dying to go back again. Not only was the food wonderful and came out quickly, the owners were also so nice and inspiring - these are the places you love to support.
