Okay, so I went to Agate Restaurant today – it was surprisingly busy, definitely a local favorite! I got a table after about 20 minutes waiting, which wasn’t bad. The food was good, pretty standard brunch fare – I had the eggs benedict and it was tasty, though the portion size felt a little small for the price. Parking was a nightmare, everyone was trying to find a spot. They could probably benefit from a few more servers during peak times. Overall, a nice spot, but be prepared for a wait!

OMG!!! Agate has started a Saturday BRUNCH!!! So perfect for the weekend and especially a rainy morning! We just tried the Corned Beef Hash, the brioche donut (had to) and the Scrambled Eggs Lorraine and they were both fabulous. One of those places where you want to eat EVERYTHING so we’ll be back for sure. And if you’re lucky, you will be waited on by the excellent and lovely Cassie. Except wait, now we won’t be able to get in. 🤣❤️ But we’ll do it!!

Food service and atmosphere amazing. Tom took care of us and he is absolutely amazing. Made us feel at home and the girls loved him. Another gem in bainbridge island and made me proud and grateful to live in Washington
