Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

We have been here twice now, one time ordered from the menu (based on recommendations from the owner) and one time the lunch buffet. Both times the service and food were excellent! Whatever you do, you must try the garlic naan! We are new to Indian food and wanted to try a few things, and both owners were extremely helpful and attentive. They checked on us, asked for feedback, and were the kindest humans. The tranquil music makes it super inviting and a great place to visit. 10/10 recommend. We’ll be back.

**** DO NOT EVEN TRY THIS PLACE**** Absolutely the worst dining experience I’ve had in a long time. Ahana’s Bombay Grille is massively overpriced for what they serve. The portions are shockingly small, especially considering the premium prices on the menu. To make matters worse, the food tasted terrible—bland, poorly prepared, and nothing close to authentic Indian flavors. The most concerning part was what happened afterward. Later the same day, my kids became sick and threw up after eating here. Whether it was poor ingredients or bad preparation, this was completely unacceptable and alarming. Even the basics were a failure. The masala chai was awful—watery, poorly spiced, and nowhere near what masala chai should taste like. Overall, this place is a complete disappointment: high prices, tiny portions, horrible taste, and a genuinely bad experience. Never ever eat at this place. I would not recommend it to anyone, especially families.

Initially unexpected, ended in a sure return. The service was impeccable, The food brought a sense of nostalgia. You can tell everything was made in store with real ingredients and made with love. The crew was so responsive and our food came swiftly. I loved the taste of the Lamb Vindaloo and the Chicken Tikka Masala. If you're in Fort Meyers I urge you to try this place the food was a taste of home over a thousand miles away. Truly a special treat for all in Bonita Springs and the Fort Meyers area.
