Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

We love AKA! Every plate is a beautiful experience. If you get multiple rolls to share they turn the serving tray into art.

Small but has a good amount of seating. We went for lunch and was quickly seated. Our server was very attentive to us and since this was our first visit he explained some of the menu items and gave us recommendations. We had a ginger salad, soup, poke, and 2 different rolls. The salad was not cut to an appropriate size and was a struggle to eat. That's my only criticism. The sushi was delicious and tasted like fresh ingredients. The restaurant was clean and tables were cleaned almost immediately when guests left. The prices I describe as fair, and lunch specials are offered. I would recommend going here if you're craving sushi 🍣

if you like crunchy rolls, both the Las Vegas one and two as well as the fire crunch roll are excellent choices. choices. if you like a warm roll that isn't deep fried and "spicy", the volcano roll is your best bet. the traditional rolls are also good, but if you have a flare for candy rolls these should be able to satisfy. beware of the traffic coming from the next door. Starbucks. parking has only been sparse once. staff seems to be polite and good-natured. Unless you want to go to Ann arbor, this is probably going to be your best bet for the area. The single stall bathrooms were clean. tables are pretty scarce most of the time, so expect to have to wait or sit at the counter seating. highly recommend the rolls above as well as the beef curry. they are pretty generous with the ginger dressing for their house salad.
