Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Only writing this review based on our order of coffee and ginger shots, both of which I am a novice. The coffee was great and balanced. The ginger shots tasted like…ginger….so I guess that’s good? Does anyone actually enjoy ginger shots? Will be back to try poke next time!

Cozy little surf shack atmosphere that also has a takeout window. Poke bowl and edamame were excellent. Very reasonable prices. Friendly staff.

Wow—I don’t even know where to start! This place completely exceeded my expectations. My boyfriend and I stopped at Al’s Aloha Kitchen on our lunch break, and now I can’t imagine eating anywhere else. The Ahi was unbelievably fresh, and the sauces were packed with flavor. The atmosphere instantly transported me back home to Hawaii, and the food came out quickly, plated beautifully. What stood out most was the variety and authenticity in every dish. I’m so glad we decided to stop in—because I’ve officially found my new favorite spot!
