Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Thanks for the awesome service Ben! Food was delicious, as always. The freshness of everything, from the crunchy bell peppers and onions in the salad to the warm falafel patties is phenomenal and astounding. Thanks! Highly suggest if you’re not nearby or in the mood to go all the way to the main Albasha.

My wife, daughter, and I are in Baton Rouge for the weekend for LSU football (Geaux Tigers)! We often go to the sit down Albasha near City Place. However, we were staying in a different part of Baton Rouge and decided to try the Albasha Express off W Lee. Mikyala was our server and she went above and beyond!! She was so sweet to my daughter and personable & attentive to my wife and I. She was basically running the entire restaurant on her own and didn’t miss a beat. It was impressive to watch and wonderful to experience. We will 100% be back next time we’re in town and we 100% recommend this location to anyone in the area. Thank you!!

Kind of annoyed at this location because I always get a chicken shawarma salad with a side of olives and now that costs over $17, which I think has gotten way too high. And the salad never has much dressing on it and I end up having to eat a bunch of dry lettuce. For $17, i expect there to be a good salad with enough dressing on it. I still think the food is super good, just not getting a good deal for the price I feel.
