Found Alice's while traveling near Crawfordville, Indiana. Great little hometown diner. Had breakfast for lunch and it was very good. Just as good were the two folks working behind the counter. The woman was great with her service. Had coffee with our meal and never had to ask for refills because she was always there before I could ask. The man worked the grill like a musician. No wasted movements handling multiple orders and the pork tenderloin he made filled the plate it was on. The locals eating there were just as nice as the staff. Great conversation and we enjoyed it as much as the food. If you're close, I recommend going if you're in the mood for good old fashioned diner food.

We like to find local places to eat when we travel. This was very local and very good. If you've never had a breaded tenderloin from the Midwest, this is the place to try one! Prepared fresh, served hot to specification. Simple good food. Loved the outside of the building. Funky!🤩
