While documenting restaurants for Alameda Restaurant Week, I spent time at Alley & Vine photographing their standout offerings. I was impressed by their tomahawk steak - probably one of the best steak deals I've seen anywhere. The place is surprisingly family friendly despite its upscale appearance. They maintain a great wine selection that complements their menu perfectly. What's interesting is how it feels like a cross between classic Alameda and going to San Francisco - warm and cozy yet has an artistic elegance to it. The food is underrated for sure, delivering quality and presentation you might not expect.

Alllllll the things! Great place. Food and service were both totally amazing. I had the seafood risotto 😋 but I cannot wait to go back for the next delicious meal.

We had a 12pm reservation on a Sunday but had to wait an hour for our appetizers and 90min for our mains. The food was great, but the wait was not. Attention management: do better. We sat outside because it was super loud inside with many parties with kids.
