Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Very welcoming atmosphere. Went after picking up my kid from school on a Thursday and there was no wait. Person behind the counter was pretty patient and relatable. Food portions are RIDICULOUS. If you question the prices, just know you are getting more than your dollars worth. I didn't order the spam masubi but I saw them bring one out for a customer and it was about the length of a hot dog lol! I got the Spicy Chicken with fried rice. My kid got a poke bowl. Everything, I mean EVERYTHING we got was AMAZING! Can't wait to try other items on the menu. 10/10 would totally recommend.

I know it’s probably best to separate these reviews but I had to combine them because these are literally two of my favorite spots and now they’re side by side and connected! I was so happy when I found out. Living in Chesapeake and working in Virginia Beach this makes it so much more convenient to grab both in one trip. The coconut chicken used to be my go-to back in the day but lately I’ve been getting the coconut shrimp and it’s still just as amazing. So flavorful and always hits the spot.As for Joyyu my favorite drink is the Avocado Joyyu. There’s just something about the condensed milk and avocado combo that I absolutely love lol. It’s smooth, sweet and super satisfying every time. My only complaint about Joyyu is the oven they have on the counter near the front of the store it’s loud! Every time it finishes cooking it’s so noisy it has my ears ringing. Other than that I’m always happy to stop by.

Let me tell you! The food here is delicious! I have passed by this establishment numerous times and finally took the leap and dropped in….glad I did! Got the order from the family and headed to the house. The Hawaiian BBQ was delicious! The Spam Fried Rice definitely hit! Chicken and Shrimp plate…..don’t have to say no more than that! If you are craving something but can’t quite put your finger on it….I promise you this is the spot!
