Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Found this gem at local store. Order Nam tok beef and Andaman’s signature dish. The signature dish was great, fried chicken and vegetable stir fry with their special sauce and serve with rice. Nam tok beef is very tasty, would go very well with a nice cold beer (which is available, but I still need to drive). The owners are Thais, and I can say that it tastes just like what we have in Thailand. If you worry about spicy level, you can go for no spicy/mild version and then add in their very own blended sauces to your liking.

Food very good, portion size ok but on smaller size compared to other Thai I've had. Price a little on the high side. Service good but several unbussed tables. Late Sunday lunch takeout.

This was my second time I ordered from Andaman. The first one was 3-4 yrs ago and I don't remember cause I paid cash. When we tried back then, we simply said "hmmm ... not coming back". This time, okay, let's try again. I ordered 2 items: Tofu Pad Thai and Vegetable Drunken Noodle. The Pad Thai was good, in term of the taste and fair quantity. Drunken Noodle was good in taste, however, the quantity was half the container. I was so disappointed, I got to weigh the food. At the end, I needed something else to eat because I was still hungry. For taste, I gave 7/10. Wish they would give more noodles on my plate. Will I come back? Maybe not.
