Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

The ramen was underwhelming. We both got No. 10 Spicy tonkatsu. Was expecting some thing creamier. The egg was hard boiled and not very well marinated, it lacked flavor. The corn was standard. Those things are an additional $2 each to add to the ramen, so they should be flavorful and on point. The service was attentive and quick. No complaints there. Atmosphere is trendy. If you’re into loud (but good) music in a trendy setting to eat ramen then you’ll enjoy it. If your looking for more of a cozy yummy experience look somewhere else. This place kinda kicks the ramen craving, but leaves you unfulfilled.

Hair in my Ramen. I ordered for delivery. I took a bite and pulled a long piece of hair out my mouth. I thought it was mine so I let it go. A few seconds later, I pulled another long piece of hair out my mouth and I let it go Again, thinking, maybe it was my hair. The third piece of hair I flashed my light on it because it felt very hard and thick, and it was a long white piece of hair. When I called them, they didn’t offer to do anything and they never called me back. Also, when I dine in one time and had the cucumbers for an appetizer, it was dipped in a watery sauce that tasted like cleaning products. Their service is terrible and you have to be real disgusting to have a bunch of pieces of old white thick hair not just one but a bunch in someones food. You guys need to do better!

My last experience here wasn’t great so I hadn’t returned to eat at Ani Ramen in three years. I’ll definitely be coming back after today! Vante, our server, was fantastic, warm, and patient. I almost knocked over the table onto him and he took it in good humor! My boyfriend and I arrived near closing and he didn’t mind at all. I got the spicy tonkotsu ramen and it was amazing, the broth was rich and flavorful and the pork belly was so soft it melted in your mouth. The pork belly bao buns were good as well. The noodles were cooked perfectly and tasted fresh! I highly recommend coming here for ramen and ask for Vante!!!!
