Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

We had the tacos and quesabirria both were great and full of flavor. We had the carne asada and al pastor tacos the tortillas were really authentic, so good! With all the people getting food I can tell everything on their huge menu is just as good. I will definitely be back

The birria tacos, quesadillas, and birria ramen are excellent—rich, savory, and full of flavor. Another standout is the Tony Cu pizza, which is absolutely fabulous. Everything we tried was delicious and high-quality. A fantastic choice for great food!

I have tried this place twice - once when it opened years ago and again tonight. Both times I have found the food, the flavors, the textures, and the overall package underwhelming. I know the reviews are all glowing, but we have so many options for fantastic Mexican American food in the cities that I can’t truthfully give more stars. Today I ordered the enchiladas with red and green salsa, rice, and beans. I just returned from New Mexico and was craving enchiladas Christmas (red and green chile). This was just underwhelming in every way. The chicken was very plain, the tortillas were not tender, the rice was mushy and bland, and the beans weren’t seasoned. The red and green chile didn’t have much flavor or any body to them - you can tell from the pic that the green was so liquid that it didn’t even stay on the enchiladas - it sank to the bottom of the tray. The salsas are often the highlight of a meal for me and I hate to say the three included salsas were also underwhelming. They were all watery and ran right off the food. There was some heat in the salsa chile de arbol which was nice. But overall there was a punchiness lacking in the mix. The meal could have used a lime to squeeze over to add brightness and tang that was otherwise lacking. It wasn’t bad, exactly. It wasn’t good, either. They don’t serve what I’m looking for. I’m glad that for sooo many of these reviewers they do. I want local businesses to succeed, so I’m glad they are
