Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Great local cafe with neighborhood vibes! Spent most of mid day here on a Saturday and it was full of people coming in and out- a popular local gem. Great arepas and waffles, coffee, and also featured local artists’ work on the wall for sale. Limited seating inside, and a couple tables outside as well. Parking is limited, but this place is also perfect for getting things to go and walking the through arboretum, just a walk across the street. Great location!

I loved the chicken that was inside the arepa. A good portion, not salty, not even the sauce felt too much. The only thing I wish it had more would be avocado, it was perfect. Their matcha was good, no complaints there - can have it cold or hot, which is great. Their waffle, more like a croffle - it said waffle on the menu, so I was imagining a fluffy waffle, but got a croffle. I'm not mad about it, but they are a bit hard, not fluffy.

Honestly went here because mt bagel was closed. And such a good choice! We both got breakfast sandwich’s that were 10/10. The lumberjack was the best creative sandwich we have had in Seattle. My partner will be driving there just for that. Also you get a lot of food for your money! Sweet local place we are adding to our list!
