Big love to Aroy Thai. The food is always delicious, service is excellent and accommodating, and the space is well-kept and modern. We went for lunch today and ordered two appetizers because we saw something on the specials board that looked great and was something we hadn't tried before (pork wontons). This ended up being way too much food. My husband ordered the pork pad Thai with a spice level of 3 dinner portion and I had the chicken pad Thai with a spice level of 2 lunch special. Our server brought our dishes out on different-shaped plates and very quickly (I'm assuming to differentiate the lunch and dinner portions), but the amount of food looked the exact same, yet the lunch special was $4 cheaper. I'm guessing the just increased the size of mine to match my husband's, or it was a happy accident. Flavor was incredible as always. We both only ate about half of our dishes, including the appetizers. We also ordered Thai tea that was so tasty and creamy. We didn't drink all of it while eating, so we got to enjoy it as a dessert after the meal. We came in around 12:30 on a Wednesday and all but three tables were filled and I spotted two people come in to pick up their takeout orders. It's good to see them doing so well. Not surprising at all based on the quality of their food, service, and location.

I have never before sent a dish back uneaten. I ordered the Tom Kha soup and received coconut milk, mushrooms, chicken, and a few little pieces of green onions. The flavor was missing. My daughter ordered Pad Thai and it had a grayish tint and tasted strongly of bean sprouts. We will not go back.
