GREAT FOOD! Probably the best carne asada I’ve had in a long time! Beef prices are up! Most businesses are having a very hard time competing with the food industry prices at the moment. These are the places that are hard to support! No matter how delicious the food is, if your take on business is that “we’ve got the best food, so we can have the worst attitudes to customers” is a horrible business ethic take. I absolutely can’t stand, walking into an establishment, and not being greeted, then you say hello a they can’t say hi back. . . Then these are the people that expect a tip on a self served style set up. I’ve traveled a lot, and it’s just quite embarrassing how the tipping culture is in this country, but even more scary is the lack of skills and un-willingness these younger generations really feel about working. The experience I had here was such a turn off, I am Not even going to rate the awesome delicious carne asada they have here. If I was a business owner and my place was barely surviving because the entire menu is beef and the meat industry is absolutely broken at the moment in this country. I would absolutely without a doubt make sure the OUTPUT OF MY EMPLOYEES IS TOP NOTCH! But damn. IF I WAS THE OWNER! i don’t know, maybe id have people working that are welcoming, people that know how to have respect to someone who’s willing to drop $13 on a stupid burrito and $5 per taco $4 fantas My hope here is that everyone reads my review on this joint! And steers clear away from this place Places like this don’t deserve to stay open just because of “good food” I could of walked across the line to Mexico, gotten better respect and treatment from the staff, (probably working in a food cart with no heater or AC) and still gotten the same or better tacos and food, without the jacked up prices and the street vendor would of had a smile on her face serving me my plate in the winter cold. Screw this place, never going back. Never recommending.

In my opinion, the food was really good. The place was a bit crowded, so it took a little while to get my order, but I have to say I really appreciate the great service we received from the cashier. Despite how busy it was, she treated us politely and kindly and was very attentive. She took the time to explain each item on the menu to make sure we were happy with our choice. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this was my first time visiting a restaurant in Douglas, and it left me with a very good impression. I hope to come back soon 😁

Best authentic food in the area. Straight from across the border fresh!
