Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

My friends and I went on 11/15/25 for lunch at about 1:15. The food was very good. However, they only offer their brunch menu on Saturdays. The service was sub-par and the continued excuse was they were frazzled because they just finished with the lunch rush. The bills came and were wrong not once, not twice, but three times. I paid with cash, but my friends all paid with cards. At least once friend was overcharged by $12. She did not leave a tip on the card because she tipped with cash. I have called the establishment to complain, but the manager was not available. I will be calling back. I do think it was also overpriced, as compared to other fine dinning restaurants.

Auberge has been a bit of a journey for us. When we first visited, the food was spot on — the kind of meal that makes you start planning your next reservation before dessert even hits the table. The service was warm, the dishes were thoughtful, and the whole experience felt special enough that we were excited to come back. Over time, though, things have slipped a bit. On a few return visits, both the food and service felt less consistent. Nothing disastrous, just enough little misses that the shine faded. We still think Auberge has the bones of a great neighborhood spot, and we genuinely hope it finds its way back to that first-visit magic. Not a bad place — just one we hope gets back to being as good as we know it can be.

Went for brunch with my husband and bonus kid. The service and atmosphere were great, but those were the only highlights. Most of the food/drinks were just above edible. The deviled eggs were good. The Irish coffee was cold and $14 for a small little cup with just Bailey’s. The espresso martini tasted like straight espresso and when I asked for some simple syrup (which was supposed to be in it per the menu), I was told their recipe doesn’t include it…in direct contradiction to the menu. My stepson’s fries were room temp and limp. The croque monsieur was very small and while they often are served with lots of cheese on the outside of the bread, there was none. The strawberry, banana crepe was dry and lackluster. It could really use cream or something inside. Ultimately, we will not be back.
