Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

This restaurant is a hidden gem that delivers far beyond expectations. The food quality is superb, rivaling the refined, elevated dining you'd typically expect from a trendy spot on Melrose. Beyond the exceptional cuisine, the service truly shines: our server wasn't just helpful and attentive—she was genuinely passionate about every dish she presented, making the entire dining experience feel personal and truly special.

I decided to stop by this place driving from LA to Santa Barbara and it’s a gem! The shrimp taco tastes like heaven, with the shrimps in creamy source, and balanced by avocado, tomato and lime. I have also tried the prosciutto sandwich, which is surprisingly sweet but good. The toast has caramel in it and the source has honey so it’s definitely sweet, however, it’s also very satisfying combing with the generous portion of prosciutto and cheese, it feels warm and hearty and goes extremely well with a hot coffee. All ingredients taste extremely fresh and I wish I can try more of their items in the future.

We ordered fried rice cuz it looked amazing from the photo. However it was nothing better than the soy sauce based fried rice I made during college. I thought it had special sauce from the photo (looks more moisturized in red and pinkish ) but it was more dry and brown fried rice. Shrimp taco was great. Baby was screaming high pitch every minute in the background and it was extremely irritating. I like the music it had nice sound system. Server was not very attentive to me. It seem they were shorthanded. I like how they bring out the whole French press for hot lemon water. They were out of ceviche. And another thing on the menu saying only available Tuesday and Wednesday. It seems like I was there at a wrong time.
