Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

I brought the family here to try it out since we’ve never been here before. I made reservations for 5 and I was asked if I wanted a booth or a table. I opted for the booth thinking it would give up more room. That was a mistake, we were seated in a standard booth for 4 people with a chair at the end. We were very cramped and it wasn’t comfortable. Between all of us, we got the spaghetti carbonara, chicken limone, salmon paisano, chicken fettuccini Alfredo and cheese ravioli. All of the pasta and sauces were very good, but every the dish with chicken and salmon was dry and overcooked. The chicken looked and tasted like the pre-cooked grilled chicken strips that you buy in the frozen section at the store. It was so dry I was nearly inedible. The salmon was also overcooked and very dry. Our server was very good and attentive and made sure that all of our drinks were full and we always had fresh bread. I honestly don’t plan on going back.

We're from NY with A Lot of Italian places to choose from. We found this place to be authentic. We had portabello basilico app which had a delicious sauce. Artichoke Florentine which was just OK. My husband had the seafood combo, he said was excellent. I had eggplant parm which was just OK. It was deep fried and kind of tough. I find it hard to get good eggplant parm here in AZ. The waiter, Steven was Excellent and friendly. I would highly recommend.

1/3/26: Baci's is a large restaurant, plentiful parking, nice decor (but no Italian music playing, bummer), decent food, and the service was fine. There was nothing exceptional about the experience, and though will drive long distances for good food, we won't return to Baci's. Cocktails: Italian Delight and Something Different. A bit overpriced but I must say the Delight was better than the lasagna. Appetizer: we ordered the prosciutto rolatini which, in my opinion, was completely ruined by the mounds of onion. I had to scrape all that off before touching these. The complementary bread loaf we were given was very good. Meal: lasagna & tortelloni paisano. My lasagna was drowning in marinara (I should have ordered the gnocchi). My sis enjoyed her paisano way more than I enjoyed the lasagna. Regardless, of who liked what, we both agreed "been there, done that, no desire to return".
