Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

I went with a group and we ordered a little bit of everything, it felt like. The food was outrageously good. The tea leaf salad was perfectly balanced in every bite with a warming spiciness on the back. The crunchiness was intensely satisfying and I will probably go back and order just that for a meal more than once. I really can't describe all of the dishes individually, mostly because a (much more knowledgeable) friend did the ordering and I don't remember all the names. Everything was as near to perfect as I suspect you can have without shuffling off this mortal coil - the soups walked an incredible knife edge of flavors and textures and were a perfect antidote to the below zero temperatures outside. The whole fish was stunning - sweeter than expected vegetables rounded out by a hint of smokiness that complimented each bite perfectly. The seafood curry again was a master class in timing; each type of seafood in it has been cooked to finish exactly as the dish was served so nothing was over or undercooked and swim together in the beautiful clinging sauce. The duck had been rendered until the skin and fat were crisp ànd the meat meltingly tender. The desserts are now among my top three in Buffalo - the ice creams are made in-house from fresh coconut and fresh mango, and the mango sticky rice almost caused a duel with spoons after the first bite we we all dove in for a second. The place is an absolute hole in the wall, located in a little strip mall building next to what I think was a vape store. Do not be dissuaded, and do not drive by. The service was attentive and friendly, but honestly if they had been complete grouches I would still recommend going for the food.

Delicious food, great presentation, and excellent service. Impressive flavors that kept us wanting more.

Mee Wonton tastes amazing. The broth is very rich and well-balanced, with generous toppings and fresh shrimp. Everything is so fresh. I really love this dish and would highly recommend everyone to try it.
