Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Little place with big flavor. I love the family run service. The food is clearly made with love. The spice tray you can get is also awesome. We love coming here! The drunken noodles are my favorite.

It's a great small restaurant. We had two different dishes and they come with the rice on the side. So you can choose how much rice you want. And it's not soaked like in other places.

I absolutely love Bangkok 56! Every time I go, I feel like I’m getting a warm hug in the form of Thai food. My go to order is always the larb, drunken noodles, and a side of their simple fried rice and honestly, I could eat that combo every day. The larb is so fresh and flavorful, with that perfect hit of lime and spice. The drunken noodles are packed with bold flavor and just the right amount of heat, comforting but with a kick. And their fried rice might sound basic, but it’s anything but. It’s just so satisfying. Service is always friendly and the food comes out quick and hot. If you haven’t been yet, you’re seriously missing out!
