I recently made my first visit back to Bangkok Express in quite some time, and it was a nostalgic trip down memory lane! This place used to be one of my go-to spots to take my Aunt Bertha in between her doctor visits and physical therapy sessions, and it holds a special place in my heart as we approach a year since her transition. We always ordered the sweet-and-sour shrimp (no heat), adding extra onions and shrimp for that burst of flavor! Walking into the restaurant, I noticed they’re still operating with the COVID-style wrap and cover, so there's no dining in anymore, which was a bit disappointing. However, the warm welcome from the family that runs the place made up for it. They were incredibly friendly, and it felt great to see familiar faces. The food was just as delicious as I remembered! While chatting with a couple who were visiting for the first time, I was happy to share my recommendations. I’m glad I could provide them with an accurate review based on my past experiences. Overall, I had a wonderful time at Bangkok Express, and I look forward to returning again soon. It’s a great spot for anyone looking for tasty Thai food and a friendly atmosphere!

Had been going to this place for a while before the hostess on the phone told me their spice levels. Mild, Med, Hot, then 1X - 10X extra hot. She told me 5X is about habanero and 10X is about ghost pepper level. I tried 4X and it was close to the hottest thing I've eaten lol. Even got advice on what I could do if it was too spicy. Very pleased with my order, I don't know if I'll go hotter than that, but the food was very flavorful in its own right, disregarding the spice. Like I said, been getting taken out here for a while, and will definitely come back for more

This place is awesome. Good portion size, tasted great, friendly service upon order pickup. & thank you for being the only Thai restaurant I’ve been to that puts aluminum foil in the carton to stop it from melting the foam! 10/10 will be back.
