Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Stopped in here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised! Their coffee was very reasonable and their subs, err sandwhitches are not enough to share of your looking for a light lunch or snack! We really enjoyed the food and drinks, and will definitely return when in the area! Easy to access and plenty of parking available, and the staff were incredible friendly and made everything on the menu clear to us. Thank you Banhdicted!

So, I'm Vietnamese. I have certain expectations when it comes to Vietnamese cuisine. I had high hopes when I ordered the bahn mi, as I have yet to find a really good vietnamese bahn mi in Tucson. Whereas, there are a few good places for bahn mi in Phoenix. I ordered the AZ Special and BBQ Pork. What can make or break a bahn mi is going to be the bread first. Unfortunately, it failed the bread test, as the bread (baguette) should be crunchy and not soggy. The bahn mi on top was toasty, but the bottom was way too soggy, so the bread (baguette) did not holdup, as it should in a bahn mi. The BBQ Pork or Thit Nuong needed a bit more flavor and the carrot/daikon pickling was good, but probably needed the juice drained more. I think the baguette bread needs to be improved, as it shouldn't get soggy for a bahn mi. Now if you are ever in Phoenix, I would recommend Da Vang Restaurant or Lee's Sandwiches.

So food is always delicious every time, however I’ve noticed depending on the staff (which I’m sure is pretty normal) the items vary on how they are prepared. Depending on who is there the day that I go in is how I’ll know my meal will be great. Sometimes I am okay with the food. Pictured was from my last recent visit and you can tell the bread was different and it’s very toasted. Thai tea was great!
