Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Bella Sera Italian Restaurant was amazing! The food was fresh and delicious, the service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. They helped make my birthday feel special, and I truly appreciated the care and hospitality. Highly recommend and will definitely be back. I recommend the lasagna and the tortellini 🫡💜

Food was great and Becky was amazing at providing great service. The twisted bread knots to start with were delicious I would like to have had some olive oil and pepper to dip that would have made this delicious plus! My wife had chicken soup and Linguine and she loved both. I had a salad with Italian dressing and the pasta trio, salad was super fresh and crisp with great dressing and the trio was so fantastic and freshly prepared. There was not a single dried piece of lasagna like you get in the big chain restaurants. This place is great and we cannot wait to go back with our boys for a full family meal.

I accidentally found this place. I had just finished picking up my race bib for the San Antonio Half Marathon and wanted to load up on pasta to replenish my carbs. I was headed towards my house, so I opened up Google Maps and looked for an Italian restaurant. This restaurant popped up, and I decided to give it a try. It was the smartest decision I made that day. I was surprised when I got to the destination. Although I'm very familiar with a few restaurants right in that area, I was surprised to see that one there. Seating was very quick. I was told to take a seat wherever I liked. Upon sitting, I was given the menu. I saw the veal parmesan photos on Google, but I asked a server if that would be a good choice or if the veal piccata would be better on my stomach for the next morning's race. She recommended the chicken piccata. She also recommended the chicken soup instead of the salad. I added a bruschetta balsamic salad as an appetizer. Knotted bread was also given. The knotted bread and salad were great. The chicken piccata was very light in a buttery/lemon-flavored sauce. The veal was so tender, I was able to cut it with a fork. Although I was eating veal, pasta, bread, and salad, the meal wasn't heavy on my stomach overall. I only ate half my meal. I boxed up the other half, telling a server that I accidentally found this place, but I'm definitely going to return. I cashed out at the front, and then I went home. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience. To be surprised like that, just searching for a place on Google is very rare. I am definitely going to return, sooner than later.
