First, I’ll start with the positive. The soup that I ordered was extremely good… It was the braised beef/cabbage soup and I would highly recommend it…second let me say that our server was outstanding. She was very sweet, kind, very attentive and made sure that we didn’t need for anything. Now here’s the issue. The food had no flavor. It had zero flavor at all, which is unfortunate because the burgers were Nice and big my wife ordered a regular cheeseburger. I ordered a patty melt … Both zero flavor there was just no seasoning no nothing on the hamburger. It had just an blah nothing on it flavor .. not even a natural taste from the hamburger itself it was really kind of odd ..we tried to fix it with salt pepper condiment to no avail. I ended up just bringing mine home so I can just Dr. it up myself.. my wife ended up just going ahead and ate hers because well she was hungry. Now sure we could’ve complained. We could’ve sent them back but what were they gonna do? We would’ve maybe ask for a redo.. but really in actuality why would we have complained.. When a burger is tasteless at the restaurant is because they’re using no seasoning so the point to send it back is moot and we went in the mood for the burgers so any other thing made no sense to ask for something else . Obviously they don’t use any seasoning for the hamburger now.. we can overlook that maybe in someway by adding A condiment and salt and pepper ourselves.. and yes, we could’ve asked for them to take them back we could’ve complained but what were they gonna do? They were just underseasoned meat period now for the main reason that I’m giving this type of review. The whole time I’m sitting at the table all I keep smelling is cleaner. I’m smelling like I don’t know a Fabulouso cleaner or Pine-Sol cleaner or whatever it was ..they were continually using it to clean tables with and it was absolutely too strong for a restaurant to use when people are eating… Being a former server myself, the most that we ever used was like a light bleach type water to make sure that the tables were clean and we never used anything that have any type of deep smell to it because it ruins the person’s meal. I kept smelling it throughout the whole time I was eating ..finally I got up to go to the bathroom and I realized the bottles were like 2 feet away from my head.. And I was becoming more nauseous every time they used the Bottles. to clean another table.. The strong smell was so bad that I left the table and waited outside for my wife as she finished up. Cleanliness is important absolutely but you can’t just pick any type of cleaner when people are eating you have to be more careful about smells and interactions with the lingering smells what that leaves behind, etc. They really need to change the cleaner immediately when it comes to that if they wanna clean with that after hours, that’s their business .. but during working hours it’s gotta be changed. Other than all this, we kind of found the food underwhelming wasn’t that it was bad. It was just underwhelming. We expected a little bit more and really didn’t get it. Like I said, the soup was delicious. Maybe some of the other meals are I don’t know but mixed with the smells who knows anyway. So of course, we don’t recommend this place

Best breakfast / brunch downriver! Everything is made fresh in house. You can taste the difference. Great service too!! Will be a regular 100%
