Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

This place is amazing! Saw it on a TikTok video and had to try it out. We were seated right away and Hunter took extremely good care of us. He was very attentive and explained the menu and specials with great detail. The food and drinks were delicious and we had plenty of leftovers.

I went here for the good reviews. The atmosphere was ok and my server was very nice. The food on the other hand tasted horrible. The cheese triangle bites had no cheese inside in most of them. The chicken masala with gnocchi came with huge pieces of chicken which wasn't very appetizing. It tasted like boiled chicken smothered in extremely thick gravy. The tiramisu martini neither looked or tasted good. I barely consumed a few bites before leaving.

I find it extremely difficult to find high quality restaurants in the area. I found Bertolone’s average at best. While the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is appropriate, the food and portions are not up to par and the taste isn’t winning any awards. I travel for a living and have experienced Italian restaurants all over the country and was not overly impressed. The Calamari was over cooked which makes it rubbery and hard to chew. I had the Cajun pasta which cost $30 and the portion was not at all what I expected for that price and it comes with a side salad which I never received. My husband ordered the wedding soup and received tomato bisque. While it tasted fine, it wasn’t what he ordered. We weren’t upset about anything nor did we give anyone a hard time about any of it and the server was very apologetic. I’m simply relaying our experience. Had it gone smoother, I’d still have a bit of an issue with the portion sizes and quality of the food. I will note that the bread that comes in the little baskets is delicious.
