Trying out this place since our old favorite has since closed after many years (Tana). Came in the afternoon and there was no wait. Got the vegetables platter which had split pea, puréed red bean, lentils, sautéed cabbage. Doro wot is a chicken stew with a hard boiled egg added. This dish was very satisfying. The raw kitfo or beef tartare with butter and spices was also good but just a different flavor profile from what our family has had in the past. Injera is also quite delicious, but charges for extra. Coffee was smooth and so good, although was served without the usual ceremonial roasting and grinding.

I love this restaurant! The food is excellent, healthy, and rich in flavor. The flavors and textures are unlike any I’ve tasted in other cuisines. Delicious! The family that runs this restaurant is absolutely wonderful. Rarely have I experienced such warmth and hospitality in a restaurant. They truly make you feel at home. Highly recommend!

This place is so good at the flavors it offers & the price! We got the key wot and vegetarian combo plate, with the tea at the end. Everything tasted great The owner, who rang us up, was so sweet & welcoming. Compared to prices in Little Ethiopia in LA, this was well priced. Cost us about $60 for everything with tax/tip A must have if you’re in the area
