Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

This is a pure vegetarian only spot that flies a bit under the radar. Not sure why The menu is massive: classic South Indian dosas (crispy, massive, with killer sambar and chutneys), bunch of different thalis, AND Indo-Chinese dishes The chai is actually good. Served hot in those little steel cups the traditional way Portions are HUGE. Prices are VERY reasonable. Food quality is high. Consistently Hope more people discover this gem

As non-veg people who love dosa and are harsh critics, this place is a gem. If you want real authentic South Indian food, this is the place to go! My grandparents approved. Overall, we loved our food. This place is better than Udupi Palace in my opinion. Most dishes come with 3 types of chutney and sambar, which is very nice (I believe it’s a standout coconut chutney, tomato, and garlic). We had: - Onion Rava Dosa (Masala on the side). No ghee for the vegan: ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars. This was great! I loved that it was super crispy and satisfying to eat but didn’t crumble right away. One of the best rava dosas I have ever had. The masala was simple, just okay. I’m glad I got it on the side. I will say that the sambar was not great in my opinion. I don’t eat a lot of sambar so it didn’t matter too much to me but if you really like sambar, know that it was just alright. - Onion Chili Tomato Uttapum: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars. This was delicious! Perfectly cooked. - Butter Paneer with Chapati: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The butter paneer was surprisingly good for a South Indian spot. It was enjoyable. - Chili “Chicken” (vegeterian): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars. This was surprisingly delicious! We bought this for the vegan but all the meat eaters enjoyed it too! The texture was surprisingly similar to chicken and the sauce on it was delicious! They have a new menu of vegan chicken items and it seems worth a try, though the $20 price tag was hefty. - Rasam Vada: ⭐️⭐️ 2 Stars. This was just okay. - 3 filter coffee: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars. - 1 black coffee for vegan: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 Stars. I wished they had oat milk for a dairy free option! If the owners are reading this, please add a dairy free option because I love filter coffee! Our server was also so so kind. I didn’t catch his name but he was wearing a white cap and an apron on Jan 1st around 1PM. He was very nice and got us everything we needed. We do wish that we had someone refill our water.
