Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Bikanervala Fremont This is one of the better Indian spots in the area, especially if you are craving North Indian classics and proper street food. The biggest win here is the pricing. It is reasonable enough that you can order a bunch of dishes and actually explore the menu instead of committing to just one main. We tried raj kachori, dahi bhalla, chhole bhatura, stuffed kulcha, dhokla, and pani puri. Most of the items were genuinely tasty and satisfying. The raj kachori was a standout and easily the highlight of the meal. Great balance of textures and flavors. The only miss for us was the pani puri. The crispy hollow puris were soggy, which kind of ruins the whole experience since that crunch is everything. It did not feel as fresh as it should have. That said, the menu is extensive and there is still so much left to try. I would definitely come back and explore more dishes next time.

Bikanervala Fremont is a great hangout place for North Indian popular street food. Same consistent taste as in India. It’s a self service restaurant but the prices felt on a higher side. 1 star less because of the way they are managing the food ordering process which seemed to be a bit of chaos given the line starts right in front of the entrance gate and the seating is on both sides of that line. One needs to cross the line to get to the pickup counter or to get the packing boxes. They should probably consider ordering process using QRs and assigning order numbers. Parking space was ample. Their raj kachoudi, matar kulcha, chole bhature are all nice. We will go again for that same taste we are used to. Perhaps a weekday would be better to visit.

This place is a nostalgic trip to India on a plate. The Chole Bhature hits those deep, authentic spice profile, and the Holiday Special Winter Thali felt wholesome. The pani puri water hits that exact, tangy note. The plating was decent, clean and appetising. I would say the quality matches the India locations so well, even across oceans.
