Solid 4. Lots of locals. Had biscuits and gravy. Gravy was lacking in flavor-typical dry mix just add water stuff so many restaurants serve these days. They could easily add a little flavor to it by adding crumbled sausage to it.

I truly wanted to support this small business, but the experience was deeply uncomfortable. We felt unwelcome from the start, an impression reinforced by the server’s brusque attitude and poor communication regarding our wait time. Seeing later arrivals receive their meals first was the final straw. It’s clear that hospitality is not a priority here.We felt like we don’t belong there

This is what a dinner is supposed to be. A collection of great local food and people. Food +Typical dinner food, and that's a compliment. I'm very picky with pancakes, and they were really good. Service +Family owned and operated. They were very attentive, on top of service, and busy. Atmosphere +Place was packed in a good way. +Everyone enjoying each other, table to table +A place where everyone knows your name. ++++Had a top tier experience. No seat in the house, and a lady pointed behind me to a table that a "regular" was seated. He welcomed me to sit, after realizing there was no seats, I happily accepted. Had a great conversation and meal. Never will forget the experience and will be back.
