Ordered to-go online and my order was ready when I arrived. You'll have to go into the Pub House building and out the back door through the tent to be able to access the front of the food cart pod. There doesn't appear to be access to it from the outside. I ordered the brisket, beans, and salad. The salad was super fresh and light and delicious. The briskets was a bit thin and overcooked for my taste. Unfortunately the beans were not cooked all of the way and were crunchy. The staff were very friendly.

My husband and I love this place. Its our favorite bbq in the area. We usually get their baked potato with burnt ends. What i like to do is also get a side of the cilantro lime cole slaw and put it on top of the potato. Love it! The potatoes they give you are really big so this usually lasts me 2 and a half meals. Their potato salad is great, too. Overall very happy with their food and they are such nice people. If youre looking for bbq, definitely try their food!

I'm going to be a counterpoint to the folks who think the pork is too dry and tastes like pepper. One of the "truths" of BBQ is that there are lots of styles and tastes, so if you like wet, stringy pork with a tomato and molasses based sauce - go to a place that features St Louis or maybe KC style Q. If you like your pork chopped and seasoned with vinegar, pepper and wood smoke, head for NC, Georgia or north Alabama. And that's what you'll find at Black Market. I'm not a big fan of ribs or brisket, so I can't really speak to those. I am a snob about good chopped pork Q, and I actually think Black Market is one of the best I've had outside the southern Appalachian country. I'll put this up against Bob Gibsons, Backyard BBQ, Lexington, et al. The meat is tender, well cooked, chopped just right, and you can taste the cayenne and black pepper/vinegar 'bite'. My only 'complaint' is that they don't have hush puppies. So a full five freakin' stars, and well earned.
