Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Little cute bakery on Bainbridge that gets really busy when those ferries dock. Not much room to sit it enjoy your pastries. The drinks we had were pretty good. I had a ginger chai and wife had a latte. Kids had cookies and one was a lunar New Year horse, which my son loved. Overall, the drinks and baked goods were good and we enjoyed what we had, but staff just seemed like they weren’t happy to be there or just not that friendly. Just wish there was more space to enjoy them there. There’s probably a reason why a lot of the other coffee places weren’t as busy when we visited, but going to give some a try on our next visit.

The white chocolate mocha here is excellent, rich, smooth, and very satisfying. The savory croissant makes for a great breakfast choice, and the homemade toast with peanut butter and jam is a simple yet tasty option for vegetarians. Overall, a nice spot for a comforting drink and light breakfast.

I would not recommend this for the drinks or food. I ordered to-go except the cinnamon roll, my coffee came in a mug. My coffee wasn’t hot. I orders a white chocolate mocha. So I sat outside to drink it. It tasted funny, or off, and when I got to the bottom I saw why - the chocolate hadn’t been mixed or melted. The cinnamon roll was cream cheese frosting, which I hate so I don’t care for it. But it also had RAISINS in it. Ugh! That should’ve been said somewhere in the description of them. Overall, this was very overpriced, the coffee wasn’t hot a big let down. If it weren’t so busy I would’ve given it back and got a refund or asked for the coffee to be re-made. Honestly it was gross. And I REALLY wanted to like it because I’d heard good things about this place. I would skip and go elsewhere if I return.
