Blue Moon Asian Cuisine & Sushi Bar

The location is in downtown Elko and easy to find if you drive from the main road. I came here (April 15, 2025) because recommended by my friend. My experience wasn't good and may not be the same with others. My husband and i were served by 'no emotion' server (short hair and wearing glasses). I observed the way she/he worked. She/he didn't smile and not friendly at all. She/he not suitable to work as a front service. I chose All You Can Eat (AYCE) for $29.90. Lot of selections from AYCE menu. Sushi and rolls were good but not the way they roll it. It broke the moment i took it with my chopsticks. If you are the type of customer who don't care about the service, and just want to eat, then this restaurant is ok for you. If you are particular about service, Japanese food lover and frequent traveller like me, i don't recommend you to dine-in here. Restaurant has a lot of tables and it's good if you come by group or big family.

The FLIES!! non stop harassment from flies. The food IS good but anything but soup thats already made takes a really long time. The service is terrible, the waitresses have zero emotion or personality.. almost close to pissy. The waitress walked away in the middle of me talking to her. I was trying to order more food but gave up asked for the check and my food to go and left. The grill is obviously dirty, you can taste it on any of the meat that is grilled like steak, Just tastes like dirty char. Wouldn't recommend.

My family and I eat here quite often. The food is great! Depending on the chef/ cook the flavors sometimes vary. Every time I have come here with my kids (younger and older) they are always treated so well, their kids bento meals offer a full and complete meal. I will rotate between getting the All you can eat (AYCE) and the Asian cuisine dishes that they serve. The selection they offer makes it so everyone can find something they like. The sushi is awesome and we have had very few rolls we didn’t like but that is personal preference and taste. There are also options to fit every budget as well. I grew up where there were a lot of options for really good food, blue moon ranks right up there with my favorites!
