Staying locally overnight. Hungry for dinner and found this restaurant with an average rating of 4.5. Has the choice of a well known Ruby Tuesday or try a local restaurant. So we decided on Blue Ridge Grill. Friendly atmosphere as you enter and the Manager On Duty sat us at our booth. Lyric was our server and man was she good! So positive, friendly, came to the table frequently enough, yet left us to our privacy so we could dine in as we planned. As far as the food, the Tuscan Chicken Sandwich accompanied by a sweet potato, and the Italian Wedding Soup were delicious! I ordered the Pot Roast Melt but when it arrived, I was disappointed. I thought the meat would’ve tender since it “cooks all day,” but it was quite tough and not easy to chew. The gravy was bland. (I did see another similar review on the Pot Roast, yet I decided to order it since that’s what called my attention). Chef/ Something is missing in this recipe and I’m sure you all will figure it out. The staff are great and the atmosphere is conducive to enjoying a meal. Although outdated, the restaurant is an acceptable place to eat. If you’re in town, you try it and let us all know what you think.

Went with a large party. The food was perfect. Even the liver and onions ( someone else ate that) commented it was perfect. My fish was perfect! Called my brother to tell him my birthday celebration would be absolutely the best there. The fried clams were the same as he and I would get at HoJo as children when out on the road with our parents. The clams brought back my childhood so vividly! The carrot cake had black walnuts so perfect! No sticky sweet icing it was delicious. Also the fries were crispy and the Cole slaw crisp and not too much vinegar. Really good. Being on food industry my whole life reviews are not something I usually do. Normally not impressed. This restaurant is really good. Reasonably priced also.
