The food was delicious. The staff was so incredibly patient and kind. They were out of quite a few things which made ordering a little bit challenging for me. One note: call to check hours. Prior to arrival, their hours on google listed they were open until 2AM. We were rushed away at 10PM. I did not appreciate that part especially since this change of hours occurred after we had arrived and ordered. I understand business was slow but that could’ve been handled better and with greater integrity. But I would go back to give them another opportunity for sure.

Bole Bole Ethiopian Kitchen & Bar was excellent. I ordered the fish gulash with lentils and cabbage, and everything was incredibly flavorful and delicious. The fish was perfectly cooked with bold spices, the lentils were rich and comforting, and the cabbage added a nice freshness to the plate. Portions were generous and beautifully presented. Service was warm, attentive, and welcoming. Overall, a really delicious and enjoyable experience — highly recommend!

I was visiting from New Jersey and was looking for places to eat. I saw quite a few Ethiopian restaurants in the area. I had never tried Ethiopian food and had wanted to for years. I figured that this must be the place to try it! I’m so glad I came to Bole Bole. The food was delicious! The staff were very helpful explaining the menu and suggesting things to order. They were very friendly and always checked on us. This is a family business and you can tell they love what they do. I was told that the mother cooked the food. If that’s not home cooking, I don’t know what is! I would recommend anyone to come eat here.
