My fiancé, a couple of friends and I all went to this unique, movie-themed bar to hang out and catch up. This place was amazing in all aspects! The bar itself is cool. They had movies playing the entire time we were there (we watched Return of the King), and funky art lined the walls that referenced various people, characters and moments from pop culture. The staff were super chill and kind. Our waitress was so down-to-earth and prompt with our order, I really liked her vibe! The bartender was also chill and accommodating. It really was the best place to blow off some steam at the end of a day. The food was all amazing. We got a Large order of Tater Tots to share, and they came out piping hot and satisfying. We couldn’t stop eating them! I got the Porky’s Revenge Burger for my main, and it was a messy and delicious burger. The pulled pork was divine. My fiancé got the Admiral A.C.K.B.A.R Burger, which had double-smoked bacon it in and he loved it. For our drinks, the kind bartender fixed me up a Cranberry Mint Mock-tail as an alcoholic-free option for me, which was refreshing and tangy. My fiancé got his fill of Kentucky Bourbon and also an Espresso Martini. This is such a local gem in the heart of downtown Danville. We’ll definitely be back!

WARNING: Once you try Boogie Knight’s Nashville Hot chicken… it’s a slippery slope. You might try to get your fix somewhere else to save a couple bucks and you’ll be thinking “this doesn’t hit like Boogie Knight’s Nashville Hot”… you might put a lien on your car to get more and you’ll turn around and have a lien on your house too. All other flavors will become bleak and meaningless and you’ll find yourself down in a hole… never having enough Nashville Hot. I’m eating it right now — Do yourself a favor and stay away from this stuff. You might think “well I got a good check… one time won’t hurt” and then you’re hooked. That’s how everyone gets started. When you’re eating it you might be on cloud 9 but when you finish that last bite. . . rock bottom.

This place has a nice vibe and atmosphere. There bar is normal price and they make a very good Old Fashion. However, we ordered the Get Me to the Greek which is a grilled chicken sandwich with cucumber, tomato, and tzatziki sauce and really all you could taste was the cucumber. It’s like the sandwich was missing something. Their fries are nice and crispy and I enjoyed them. Some friends came while we were there and we tried a bite of the smoked pork panini and it was very yummy. Wish we had order that! Great place to relax and enjoy time with friends.
