We had reservations for a weeknight. Party of 5. We asked if we could be seated a little early. They didn't have our reservation. We were still able to be seated right away. Our server was great and attentive. Most of us were freezing. It was cold. A few of us got the million dollar medallions. I was going to treat myself, as they were $23.99 The polenta was delicious but the medallions were small, and lacked seasoning. The drinks were great! I had the blood orange margarita and it was delicious. My bill for 1 drink and entree was $49 ( plus tip) for something just ok.

Party of 6 on Friday night. Good atmosphere, friendly waitress. The group enjoyed their food. I had the brisket mac and cheese. Little disappointing, you can expect a little extra gristle when ordering brisket but when it’s mixed with Mac and cheese you can’t easily identify a big fatty piece. Numerous chunks of what I thought was going to meat was about 90% fat. I think a little more needs to be taken when making this dish. Nothing worse then a chunk of fat covered in cheese to chew on. A little too heavy on bbq sauce but that’s a personal preference.

This place is in Stillwater Main, a very convenient location. We sat on the rooftop. At first, we thought the restaurant must be amazing with all these reviews, but keep in mind that when alcohol is involved, the good reviews could be more about the drinks than the food. We tried the food, and it was better than expected after seeing how the kitchen looked. The place itself seemed a little dirty and disorganized. The staff was friendly-ish, they looked busy, so it was easier if you didn’t ask many questions. We ordered a burger, wontons, and wings. Let’s start with the wontons, which were my favorite. The sauce and flavor combination was delicious. The wings were also very good, and I loved the BBQ sauce because it wasn’t too strong. The burger, however, wasn’t great. The cheese completely overpowered the flavor of the meat. No sauce, three random pickles, a little caramelized onion, and the so-called “thick bacon,” which just looked like regular bacon to me. I’ll probably try it again, but the place really needs to be cleaned, especially since you can see the kitchen from the rooftop stairs. I don’t think the reviews are accurate in this case. 3 stars because of the wings and wantons.
