Not bad, but definitely overrated as far as taste of the food goes. We went on a busy morning as a group of 6 and got seated immediately, so that was a pleasant surprise. The staff were super friendly and it was a nice atmosphere, so I could see why people would love to make a tradition out of eating here. But yeah when it comes to paying a pretty high price for breakfast like this, I do have higher hopes for the actual eating experience.

Let me start by saying we have frequented Brigs numerous times, but yesterday’s experience was less than acceptable. I ordered the Blue-berry salad. It was described as having grilled chicken. When I took the first bite of the chicken it definitely was not plain grilled chicken, it had some type of spicy seasoning which I do not care for at all. When I questioned the waiter, Blake, he went to check and said it was a pre-seasoned piece of chicken with Mesquite seasoning, and they could not provide plain grilled chicken. ‘Mesquite’ was NOT listed on the menu. I put it aside and ate the rest of the salad. Mid meal he asked if everything was okay and I said ‘not really’. Then we informed him that the Beef Slillet, which was the January feature that my husband ordered seemed to be lacking the meat and the bacon. He replied that he didn’t notice. 🤷🏼♀️ He never refilled an iced tea. When he brought the check he said next time I could get turkey or ham in the salad, which would have been a deli variety. When we went to check out I asked to speak to the manager who is the older woman with the white hair. From the beginning she was very defensive and said I was attacking her? Well, who am to complain to after the waiter didn’t have satisfactory answers. They ask if everything was okay, and I said no, it wasn’t. She said she doesn’t make the menu. Also said they could have provided diced chicken that they use in the omelettes, and I should have called her over to correct the situation. Again, how am I supposed to know that after I already brought it up to the waiter….he should have known the options. She had no comment about the skillet quality. In the end she did comp the bill by half, and I didn’t penalize the waiter. He isn’t responsible for how the menu is written or the quality of the food from the kitchen, but he could have provided better service. On another note…and to be honest I did not go into the women’s rest room yesterday, but in recent visits the soap and paper towel dispensers need to be replaced. Sadly to say, this restaurant has definitely gone downhill.

X the first time I went I was seated right away the food was good and hot prices were good too. But one Sunday I tried to run in and grab a quick breakfast to go and the line was outside. So if you try this place don't go on Sunday Morning if you are in a rush.
