Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

I went with some friends to grab a late night meal & honestly felt very at home. I got the Mahi Mahi and I love Hawaiian food so much. Would highly recommend and add some sauce to compliment your meal!

Super impressed with the portion sizing, large scoops and big plates is always a welcome surprise. Love that the Thai tea is more than 16oz and it's very well flavored. I got the buttermilk katsu chicken and the coating is crispy and delicious. Sadly, I had asked for a side of gravy and a side of teriyaki sauce and ended up with two sides of gravy so that was a little bit disappointing. I also asked for and paid for double macaroni on one of our dinners and both arrived with the same single scoop of macaroni. Overall love the flavor, quality, and servings of the food. Adore the convenience of the packaging for their chili sauces. Wish that there was a little bit more accuracy to the customerizations on orders.

We ordered the Huli Huli chicken and the Katsu chicken. Arrived at 12noon on Thursday. Two people that ordered about 10 minutes after us I got their meals first. While we continue to wait another 10 minutes. Maybe some dishes take longer to prepare than others, that's understandable ... it would have been nice to be offered an explanation. It wss just us and this other couple in the restaurant. Chicken in both our dishes was dry (think: cooked to long). The mac salad and coleslaw were not fresh (think: dry). Maybe Thursday lunch is not a good time to visit.
